Server Install and Update Instructions for the old Batch-File based Install Process:

Batch-File based Installer -> Install Instructions:

1. Extract the content of the ZIP to any folder you want

2. Close the Media Center

3. Run "install.bat" as Administrator (right click, execute as)

4. Start Media Center. The windows Firewall will warn you about
connection requests if it is running. Allow vmcMote.

5. Close Media Center after waiting 15 to 20 seconds (the addin needs
to be loaded). You will now see a "settings.xml" file in your
vmcMote installation folder.

6. Edit the <servername>My Media Center</servername> line
in settings.xml. Replace "My Media Center" by the name you
want to use for your server.

7. Restart the Media Center.
vmcMote running on your IPhone/IPodTouch will now find the server
automatically.
